Pricing and packages

We offer ready-made packages depending on your needs, or an “à la carte” option that’s priced by the hour:

• First Time Parent — this is the full package, beginning right after hospital discharge, ideal for first-time parents and/or parents without family nearby.

• Family Plus — an option designed to support new parents who may have in-town family and support, but would still benefit from some experienced hands-on help during the first few weeks of bringing home a new baby.

• Not My First Rodeo — this option is great for parents who may have experience with a newborn, but would still like support, especially if there are siblings around.

• Pampering Please — for the parents who just want a bit of extra help to ease the transition and make life a little smoother.

• Grandparenting 101 — an add-on to any package or available à la carte, this is a fun and informative session to help grandparents get into the swing of things.

Our most popular packages give the most help within the first six weeks of bringing your baby home. While most families benefit from a doula early on, some parents prefer to have some private family time the first week or two, and then use our services — it’s up to you, and we’ll work with you to map out a plan that fits your family’s needs.

For all packages, we suggest having our first visit in the first couple of days you are home from the hospital. We can schedule subsequent visits according to your needs — and continue to adjust when reality sets in!

Our hourly rate for packages is $50, with a 20-hour maximum per week. Without a package, the hourly rate is $60, with a 12-hour minimum. We accept payment via personal check, Venmo, or PayPal. Check out the package details below, and contact us to get started!

Interested in gifting a package with Beyond the Bump Cincy to an expectant family — or receiving a package as a gift? We’d love to connect with you. Since selecting and working with a postpartum doula is a personal process, we recommend that parents desiring a gift add their preferred package to a registry, or that the gifter work together with the intended recipients to find an option that works best for them. We are happy to consult with all parties on a solution — just reach out!
