Our process


So you want to get started with postpartum doula services — what does that look like? Starting the process is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Below are the steps to follow, and what you can expect along the way to a partnership with Beyond the Bump Cincy.

  • Fill out our client contact form, and we will reach out to set up a good time to call you for an introductory phone call. We will discuss your baby's expected arrival, and what services might work best for your family's needs.

  • After our quick introductory phone call, if you are interested in moving forward, we will set up an in-person (or Zoom, if need be) meeting to talk more with you (and your partner). This is a 20-30 minute meeting to introduce ourselves to you, and see if we are a good fit.

  • If you decide to work with us, we’ll schedule an at-home intake meeting, where we will meet everyone who lives with you (as well as any pets!) and gather the information we will need to best support you after the birth of your baby. This will take up to an hour, and should optimally be done around Week 35 of your pregnancy.
